Sara Green
Sara is a movement director and choreographer working across theatre, film and dance.
She’s worked on projects for Radiohead, London Fashion Week, the Old Vic and RSC; and received choreography commissions for Manchester International Festival, Electrowerkz and Corsica Studios.
Sara has had extensive experience in a variety of settings, regularly collaborating with artists, bringing movement and dance to the forefront of other art forms. Her work BURNT OUT premiered at the Place, London and is in development with the support of ACE at the Lowry, Manchester.
Sara is supported by Jerwood Foundation in 2020 to develop new dance work ID MY ASS in collaboration with technologist Jo Portus, interrogating surveillance and identity construction.
Sara trained at Laban and has since taught movement at ALRA, East 15, Mountview and Rose Bruford. She runs Movement for Directors workshops for the Young Vic Director’s Programme and RTYDS. She is currently training with IDI UK [Intimacy Directors International] to become an Intimacy Director & Coordinator for stage and screen.
