LUCY
CULLINGFORD
Movement director / Choreographer
Lucy works as a choreographer and movement director and recently
graduated with an MA in Movement Studies from Central School of
Speech and Drama.
Productions while at Central include: the Restoration comedy
The Beaux Defeated, King Richard the
Second, Moll Flanders for Italia Conti
and In Flame for Rose Bruford.
Movement Director credits include: A Small Family
Business and Wuthering Heights for the
West Yorkshire Playhouse; The Dumping Of The Snark
, Lawrence Batley Youth Theatre.
Choreography credits include: No Stone Unturned
and Missing Melanie for Youth Music Theatre UK.
Mikey the Pikey (which won the Cameron Mackintosh
award at NSDF 05) Just Before The Rain, Peshkar
Productions; Moby Dick, Pigs,
Big Trouble in the Little Bedroom and
Thick As A Brick, Hull Truck Theatre:
Mother Goose, Aladdin,
Treasure Island and Alice in Boogie
Wonderland, Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.
Education projects include; ON Song and
Quartet for the End of Time for Opera North.
Lucy has taught for The West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Yorkshire
Dance Centre, The Live Theatre, Newcastle and Creative
Partnerships. She was a selector for the National Student Drama
Festival for two years and regularly works with Darkin
Ensemble.
Lucy currently teaches movement at Mountview Academy of Theatre
Arts, Alra, Rose Bruford and Arts Educational and recently for RADA
enterprises.
