CHRIS GARNER
Director
Chris trained as a director at Bristol Old Vic Theatre
School and as an actor at Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre.
He divides his time between directing and acting.
Recent productions include: Assistant Director
1984, for Northern Broadsides and the Duke's
Lancaster in association with Stroud Theatre Company; White
Lights, Theatre West; Martha, Josie and the
Chinese Elvis for Salisbury Playhouse; The
Graduate and What The Dickens! for the
New Vic Theatre and Oliver Twist as Assistant
Director.
Other directing credits include: The Amazing and
Preposterous Constance Smedley, When The Lights
Went Out, The Higher Ground and
The Gloucestershire Postcode Project for Stroud
Theatre Company; Noah's Ark, Bleak
House, Oxfordshire Touring Theatre Company; Little
